Happy New Year

I will be continuing the Winter Bike Sweats this year. However, I am dropping the Montebello Sprints for 2017. I’ll reassess at the end of the year, but for this winter we’ll be hill climbing only.

There are two strong hill climb routes that we used last year. The new one in Roland Park is a great work out. I will also try a variation of the Mt. Washington route this year, so we’ll have a mix of possibilities every ride.

First ride is not for a couple weeks: January 25th. All rides start at the Starbucks in Roland Park at 7:30PM. Weather is always a factor. I am very conservative deciding whether to ride in wet and/or icy conditions. Expect that many of these rides will be cancelled. Regardless, this weekly series should get us at least a few good (and fun!) work-outs each month.
